Annually, since 2018, WealthTechs has completed its Service Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2) examination under the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 18 (AT-C section 205, Examination Engagements) of the AICPA, performed by an independent auditing firm. Completion of the SOC 2 Type II examination indicates that selected WealthTechs processes, procedures and controls have been formally evaluated and tested by an independent accounting and auditing firm. The examination included the Company’s controls related to the Trust Services Principles and Criteria for Security. WealthTech's SOC 2 examination is performed in accordance with AT-C section 205, Examination Engagements. SOC 2 is designated as an acceptable method for a user entity’s management to obtain assurance about service organization internal controls set forth in TSP section 100—Trust Services Principles and Criteria for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy (AICPA, Trust Services Criteria) (applicable trust services criteria) without conducting additional assessments. WealthTechs selected the SOC 2 standard because the SOC 2 examination is widely recognized because it represents that a service organization has been through an evaluation of their control activities as they relate to the applicable Trust Services Principles and Criteria. WealthTech's SOC 2 Type II report not only includes the organization’s system descriptions, but also includes detailed testing of the design and operating effectiveness of the entirety of WealthTech's organization’s controls.

WealthTech's clients require normalized, quality data delivered via SFTP or API at the earliest time each morning to assure that data loading into mission critical systems and reconciliation is completed well in advance of the market open. Our proprietary Portfolio Accounting Data™ service is our core product offering that fulfills the requirements of our clients. Each and every day of the year; our dedicated DevOps Team delivers our Portfolio Accounting Data™ service by performing what we call, “The Morning Process.” The Morning Process is the most important thing we do; nothing takes higher priority; nothing stands in our way of accomplishing it and we constantly improve it. Our DevOps team performs 7 core jobs:
- Load unstructured data content from our data providers into our Microsoft SQL staging database Load unstructured data content from our data providers into our Microsoft SQL staging database.
- Normalize unstructured data received from our data providers via our proprietary mapping rules logic coded by our DataDev Team.
- Export normalized data to WealthTech's Normalized Data Model in Microsoft SQL Database.
- Validate and Fix data issues identified by our proprietary, automated rules engine which consists of 180+ data validation rules and mark-to-market position reconciliation.
- Notify WealthTechs clients of any issues which will cause delays in delivering normalized, quality data to our clients via our ClearView Client Portal and automated email notification.
- Export normalized/structured data to customer’s folders who receive data via SFTP and export unstructured source data to our Data Lake where data at rest is compressed and encrypted.
- Improvement – our DevOps team constantly improves the Morning Process by listening to customer feedback, bettering our normalization logic, validation rules and reconciliation procedures which results in an ever Portfolio Accounting Data™ service for our clients.
